My Story

Hawaii Grown ~ San Diego Flown

     Born and raised in Kaneohe, Hawaii, my hair journey began there in 2007. After years of hair-color being a creative outlet, I decided to take the leap and turn my passion into a career. 

      I was initially trained in Honolulu by skilled Sassoon and Wella stylists, solidifying a work ethic based on attention to detail, precision, and consistency. Shortly after graduating I decided to leave the islands & relocated to San Francisco, CA. There I trained under an Aveda master stylist for two years, focusing on improving skills behind the chair and learning the business side of the hair industry.

    Craving the sunshine and a laid back vibe closer to my roots, I worked my way south and found my permanent home in San Diego, CA. Here I was fortunate enough to earn a position at a very busy & successful salon in Mission Hills. Working & learning under top Paul Mitchell master stylists, I continued to evolve and fall deeper in love with hair and the connections made with my clients.

     In 2015 I made the leap & branched off as an independent stylist at The Park Salon in University Heights. Being surrounded by talented artists in an intimate and relaxing setting, has been nothing short of wonderful for both my clients and career.

    As a color & balayage specialist, I find beauty in everything from natural blondes & sunkissed brunettes, to vibrant unicorn locks. My passion for learning means there's always a new technique, trend, or inspiration that I cannot wait to share with my clients.

     After all these years I truly believe hair is, and should be, an extension of your inner light. When your outward appearance reflects the person you want to be, magic happens. I look forward to meeting you, building a relationship, and helping you to radiate your inner beauty!
